Which course will I study?

• You will study the Edexcel/Pearson IAL (International A Level) Physics A-level course XPH11 and YPH11, 2018.

• This qualification is welcomed by universities all over the world. I have sent students to Oxford and Cambridge with IAL Physics.

• Only international qualifications such as Edexcel/Pearson IAL Physics can be sat in centres overseas, outside the UK. AQA and UK domestic qualifications are not offered by international centres so you would be unable to take your exams without travelling to the UK.

• IAL Physics has no fewer than three examination times each year, May, October and January, so you can sit your exams when you are ready.

• AQA, CIE and domestic UK EDEXCEL Physics qualifications contain a mandatory practical element. You would be required to take a practical exam in a laboratory. Obviously if you are learning from home, it is difficult to do much practical work. Also, the cost of A-level Physics practical equipment is prohibitive for all but larger educational institutions. With Edexcel IAL Physics, the practical side requires an understanding of practical techniques, but no actual practical work in a lab. That is why this qualification is ideal for the overseas distance learner.
